Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Orthopedic Spine (WILL TRAIN!)

Orthopedic Specialty Group seeks to add another full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to the team. Previous orthopedic experience is preferred but will train a new graduate with interest in orthopedics! The position includes both the clinic and OR. The new Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will be working with a Spine Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon. Recent graduates please apply.

Responsibilities include:

• First assist (spine)
• Initial evaluations
• Joint aspiration and injections
• Pre-op and Post-op H&P’s
• Reductions of fractures and dislocations
• Write scripts
• Coordinate with Physical Therapist and ATC’s
• Ordering tests and evaluate X-ray, CT Scan and MRI
• Casting and splinting
• Possibility to run clinics
• Hospital rounds

The location is 40 minutes to Bloomington. This city has universities, a local airport, low cost of living and excellent school systems. Salary depends on experience plus an excellent production bonus plan. There is a full benefits package offered.
