Upper Extremity Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon seeks to add an Orthopedic Physician Assistant to the team. This position is a combination of the office and the OR. The group has a state-of-the-art facility with EMR, MRI, PT, Digital X-ray and ASC. The Physician Assistant would eventually run an orthopedic clinic. This position is 40 hours per week with some office-based call.
Responsibilities include: H&P’s, patient evaluation and education, first assist, review lab results, write scripts, treat basic fractures, joint injection and aspiration, hospital rounds, call within a clinic and hospital setting. Successful Physician Assistants should be Board-Certified or Eligible. Candidates should have a passion for orthopedics. The location is in a beautiful area of an upscale Phoenix suburb. The Physician Assistant will enjoy year-round outdoor living, solid schools and all the amenities of a great city.
Compensation: Depends on experience level, plus incentive! Also, base salary is based on 40 hour work week and any additional hours are paid overtime. Plus, there is a full benefits package!
