Physician Assistant – Orthopedics
Well-established Orthopedic Group seeks a full-time Physician Assistant to work directly with an Orthopedic Surgeon with a Spine Fellowship. This doctor handles a good volume of spine cases which includes complex revisions and utilizes the latest minimally invasive techniques. This position includes three days in the clinic and two days in the OR.
The group has a state-of-the-art facility which includes Digital X-Ray, ASC, EMR, and PT Center.
The location is in the Metropolitan New Orleans area. The area offers moderate cost of living, museums and history, restaurants, shopping and a great quality of life.
Compensation: There is an excellent compensation and full benefits package provided which includes 401k profit sharing plan, full medical, dental, vision and insurance.
Responsibilities include: evaluation of orthopedic injuries, consultation, first assisting, rounding and patient evaluation and education, reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. There is no call and no weekends.
This doctor will train a new graduate with a passion for orthopedics. Successful candidate must be Board-Certified/Eligible.
