Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner – Orthopedic Clinic

Multi-Specialty Orthopedic Group seeks to add another experienced full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. This position is all clinic based with no call schedule, evenings or weekends. The Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner will run their own orthopedic clinic and see both new and follow-up patients. Patient base is around two thirds spine and the balance extremities. Cases include both chronic and acute orthopedic injuries.

Responsibilities include: run clinics, patient evaluations and education, ordering and evaluating diagnostic tests (X-ray, MRI, etc.), consultation, ordering and reviewing lab tests, writing scripts and injections (cortisone and trigger point). The group will only consider experienced orthopedic Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners and must have some spine experience.

The Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner will be employed by the orthopedic group and will have a very competitive compensation including bonus plan and full benefits. Also, all travel will be directly reimbursed. The position is located within 15 miles west of Chicago.
