Lincoln, Maine: We seek an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the terrific staff of an award-winning Federally Qualified Health Center in scenic north-central Maine, just 45 minutes from Bangor. With 120+ employees, this community health center serves 24,000 residents in 19 towns, providing primary care, walk-in care, occupational health, pre-natal care, podiatry, behavioral health, dental care, school-based health and patient education services in 6 locations. With federal grant funding, a sliding fee scale helps underserved patients.

You are invited to join an established team in an upbeat, collaborative setting providing walk-in primary care and urgent care services to patients of all ages. This program, for unscheduled care, launched four years ago and is immensely popular. They schedule with double-coverage – so, two providers are always on duty. You will see a wide variety of cases including urgent care patients of relatively low acuity. We need an experienced advanced practice provider who is ready to see patients independently from the start.

Enjoy a convenient schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week! You will practice in a beautiful 28,000 sq. ft. healthcare complex in downtown Lincoln – a bright, modern facility with up-to-date technology, on-site radiology/lab, and fully integrated EMR. The walk-in center is open Mon-Fri, 7AM-7PM. You may have the option to pick up additional shifts for additional cash!

You will earn a very competitive salary with benefits including paid relocation to beautiful Maine, family health insurance, life & disability insurance, participation in a 401k, plenty of paid time off, paid leave with a budget for your CME, FTCA (federal tort claims act) liability insurance, and paid license fees. Education loan repayment may also be available!

Lincoln is a friendly town at the base of the Maine Highlands. Lincoln offers innumerable recreational opportunities including boating, camping, hiking and climbing, hunting and fishing, and many more ways to enjoy Maine's vibrant four-season environment. Choose an affordable home in a safe, friendly neighborhood in town or nearby. Be sure to explore the many waterfront options!
