Lancaster, New Hampshire: We invite an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to join the inpatient team of an established, respected critical access hospital in picturesque northern New Hampshire, near the White Mountain National Forest. Join the talented medical staff offering surgical, ER and ICU services along with a variety of outpatient care.

Enjoy a rewarding role with professional variety in this 25-bed hospital (3 are ICU beds) that serves residents from across the region. You will practice with a great degree of autonomy, providing care to patients of all ages (though pediatrics make up just 2% of inpatients). You can expect about 10 patients/day in Med Surg, 1-2 people/day in the ICU, and 8-12 others in various observation, inpatient, and SNF/swing beds. You will be responsible for EKG interpretation, initial CXE interpretation, intubation and vent management, etc., while the ED staff runs codes. You can expect to handle 2-5 patient consults/admissions per shift.

This is a full time permanent position. The projected schedule is 4 nights/week (Mon-Thurs, 9pm-7am) though this may be flexible. You will be supported by a strong, collaborative team with a House Coordinator plus MAs, RNs, LPNs, an LNA Case Manager, and the On-Call Staff. This hospital partners with Dartmouth Hitchcock, Maine Med and Catholic Medical Center, so specialists are available for phone consults.

You will earn a competitive salary plus benefits including paid relocation assistance, paid liability insurance (with tail coverage), health and dental insurance, paid time off provided for vacations and personal time, more paid leave for your CME plus an expense budget, and participation in a retirement plan. Student loan repayment may also be available!
