Physician Assistant – Orthopedics

Well-established Orthopedic Group seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant. The position will include both the OR and the clinic. The Physician Assistant will support a Total Joints Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon that has a very busy total joints practice. This doctor’s specialty includes total knees and hips as well as fractures and general cases.

The location is within 45 minutes (north) plus of Charlotte. There is great all year-round outdoor living with easy access to the beautiful city of Charlotte as well as Lake Norman. There is a competitive compensation package including a bonus program. Call is optional and paid. Additionally, there is an excellent benefits package.

Responsibilities include providing first assist, running a clinic, reductions, patient evaluation and education, pre and post-H&P’s, injections (small joints and bursa), consultation and reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. Successful Physician Assistants must be NCCPA-Certified/Eligible. The doctor will train a recent graduate with an orthopedic rotation.
