Physician Assistant – Orthopedics
Multi-Specialty Group seeks a full-time Orthopedic Physician Assistant. The newly hired Physician Assistant will handle general orthopedics and sports medicine cases. Cases include total joints, knees, shoulder, and some trauma. The position includes both the clinic and the OR. The Physician Assistant will directly support an orthopedic surgeon who has a very high-volume practice.
Evansville, Indiana is a great area that provides universities, arts, culture and a lot of things to do. The location provides a very reasonable cost of living, good schools and access to a major metro area. The city has a population of 140,000 and the service area is double! Compensation: Open and depends on experience.

Responsibilities include first assist, initial evaluations, joint aspiration and injections, pre-op, post-op and follow-up, write scripts, ordering tests and evaluate x-ray, casting and splinting and running an orthopedic clinic.
